Are you an experienced Band 5 nurse looking to step up into a management role? Join us on the beautiful North Norfolk coast at our Cromer Dialysis Unit as Deputy Sister/ Charge Nurse.

The Renal Department is a unique place to work, offering the opportunity to develop skills in the renal specialty and is situated on the same site as Cromer Hospital. The Cromer Dialysis Unit caters for patients requiring haemodialysis and haemodiafiltration from both the local area and where possible, those who wish to visit the area on holiday.

Our nurse led satellite unit currently provides haemodialysis for 24 patients per day. We are staffed by a small, friendly and committed group of nursing staff, led by Senior Sister Janet Dickenson and also have a dedicated group of volunteers who are an essential part of the team. Medical care is provided by a Consultant from Norwich who visits weekly and the Renal Technicians from Norwich are also regular visitors to the Unit.

As Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse, you will be responsible for:

  • Promoting and implementing practice conductive to the development of high quality patient care by providing professional, clinical and managerial leadership
  • You will take charge of the unit in the absence of the Ward sister
  • You will provide support and guidance to all staff, helping them to develop in their role

The ideal candidate will be an experienced, enthusiastic nurse with a keen interest in Nephrology.

If you’re looking for a new challenge or to progress in your nursing career, we would love to hear from you.
