Research & Development
We are incredibly proud to be a Trust with a strong history of conducting and leading research and the opportunities for career development this brings.

We collaborate with NHS Trusts across the region to support commercial research as we have excellent research facilities and equipment across both the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital and UEA and a specific Clinical Research & Trials Unit.

We are very proud of our Stars of Research which aims to shine a spotlight on the many projects at the hospital that are looking to find new treatments and advances in patient care.

There are currently more than 300 research projects at NNUH covering many areas of medicine and more than 3,500 patients took part in clinical trials at the Trust last year.

This opens up many opportunities for colleagues to get involved with some of the most exciting developments happening in the UK.
